OCT
Scan
An OCT scan is used to take a photo of the retina and nerve within the eye. In patients with Glaucoma it is used to gather more information about the progression of the disease and provide solutions for treatment.
It is also used for patients with Diabetes, in this case, a picture of the Retina will be taken. It will give more information on eye diseases such as Macular degeneration before symptoms appear.
It is not painful nor invasive.
VISUAL
FIELD TEST
A visual field test is performed by an Ophthalmologist to test if there are any blindspots in the vision of a patient. It can also be used to monitor any existing visual loss. An eye exam is performed by testing one eye at a time. The other eye must be fully covered to avoid errors.

Laser
Treatments
We offer various Laser treatments, the most common is the YAG Laser Capsulotomy. It is used to improve vision after a cataract surgery. After a YAG laster treatment you can go back to your regular daily activities immediately.
This surgery is done to remove a lens that has become cloudy in the eye, and it is usually replaced with an artificial lens. It usually does not require an overnight stay at the hospital.
